International singer Ed Sheeran is also set to appear on The Great Indian Kapil Show this weekend, and an epic trailer of the same has finally dropped. The singer recently opened up about appearing in Kapil’s show and expressed his love for the team. In a video shared by Netflix, Ed shared, “I loved being on Kapil’s show. I’ve heard a lot about it. And I’m honoured to be a guest on it. It’s much more crazier in person and it’s fun. And yeah, it’s been fun, learning Hindi for the first time, singing with them and the band too.”

Earlier this week, Netflix also dropped a promo from the episode. In the promo, Kapil teased that Ed has flown down to Mumbai to meet him. However, Ed clarified in Hindi that he was in Mumbai to perform in the city. His reply left Kapil in shock and Archana Puran Singh in splits. Kapil also asked him about his meeting with Shah Rukh Khan. Going by the promo, Ed is set to share his experience of visiting Mannat and meeting the superstar. In the promo, he also broke into the iconic post.
Ed Sheeran was in India to perform for the final leg of his +-=/x Tour (Mathematics) at Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai on March 16. The concert also saw Diljit Dosanjh joining him for his performance.
