Rajasthan HORROR: ‘Gaushala’ Worker Tied Upside Down, Beaten To Death With Sticks In Jhunjhunu; Disturbing Visuals Go Viral

A 27-year-old man, Rameshwar Valmiki, was tied with ropes and beaten to death by a group of men in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan.

Rajasthan Crime: Disturbing videos have gone viral on social media sites showing a man tied down with ropes being viciously beaten with sticks by a group of men as he screams in agony and begs them to stop. As per the police, the victim, 27-year-old Rameshwar Valmiki, was abducted by the accused and then beaten to death in a village of Jhunjhunu district in Rajasthan.

Several videos of the brutal assault which reportedly took place on Thursday, have gone viral on social media platforms, showing Valmiki being mercilessly assaulted with wooden sticks while his hands and legs are tied with a rope.

In one video, the victim is seen held down flat on the floor on his abdomen, with hands tied behind his back while one of the accused thrashes him with a wooden stick and another holds him in place.

Police said the incident took place in Surajgarh Police Station area on Thursday and the accused shot several videos of them assaulting Rameshwar Valmiki.

A senior official said Valmiki, a ‘gaushala (cowshed)’ worker, was kidnapped by the assailants from his house, taken to an unknown place, tied up with ropes, and brutally beaten to death with sticks.

Following Valmiki’s brutal killing, his older brother, brother Kaluram filed a complaint with the police based on which an FIR was registered and one accused, Praveen alias Baba, was arrested, while searches are underway to nab the other suspects in the case, said Jhunjhunu Superintendent of Police Rajarshi Verma.

“Deependra alias Chintu, Praveen Kumar alias PK, Subhash alias Chintu, Satish alias Sukh, Praveen alias Baba have already been arrested in the case,” Verma said.

The SP said Deependra is a history-sheeter of Surajgarh Police Station, adding that further investigation in the case is underway.

Local media reports said the accused are involved in illicit liquor trade in the area and suspected that Valmiki was working with their rival gangs which could threaten their hold over the illegal business.
