Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel felicitates 159 meritorious students

RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh government honoured 159 talented students in a felicitation ceremony under Swami Atmanand Meritorious Student Promotion scheme. In the felicitation program, chief minister Bhupesh Baghel felicitated meritorious and special backward tribe students, who have excelled in the 10th and 12th board exams of the year 2019 and 2020 conducted by Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education.

These students were give medals and honorary certificates under Swami Atmanand Meritorious Students Promotion Scheme. Baghel congratulated all the talented students including their parents and teachers. Under Swami Atmanand Meritorious Student Promotion Scheme, an amount of Rs 1.50 lakh is given to the students who secured a place in the merit list.

Baghel said that this moment of Pratibha Samman- felicitation ceremony is a glorious moment. “The goals of life can be achieved only through education and gives positive direction to life. Students are the future of the country and the state and must strive to establish new dimensions of development in all fields including knowledge-science, art, culture and administration.”

During this program, the CM interacted with many students and learnt about family background and life goals of students.

Chief minister said that the state government is providing all possible help to talented students for better and higher education and this assistance will continue further. Baghel appealed to the students to study diligently and to brighten the name of their parents and Chhattisgarh by achieving success. He said that he was happy to talk to all the students. Chief minister gave the children lesson to study as well as keep company of good people and adopt the best ethical values.
