Telangana farmers get Rythu Bandhu amount: How to check online payment

State agriculture minister S Niranjan Reddy said that Nalgonda had the most number of farmers eligible for the benefit (4,72,983), while Medchal-Malkajgiri had the least (39,762).

The Telangana agriculture department has started disbursement of the investment support of ₹5,000 per acre to farmers in the state under the Rythu Bandhu scheme.

Addressing the media, state finance minister T Harish Rao said on Tuesday that the government decided to deposit the amounts without delay to help farmers invest in cultivation though the state government could not generate enough revenues in the past one year due to coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

Reddy thanked chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and the authorities for releasing necessary funds under Rythu Bandhu scheme, for the benefit of farmers despite the Covid-19 pandemic. The amounts will be disbursed into the bank accounts of farmers till June 25.

The scheme was launched by Rao and since then it has benefitted about 59.26 lakh farmers of the state.

Here’s how to check the Rythu Bandhu status online:

  1. Go to the Official Website https://treasury.telangana.gov.in/ link
  2. Select on Rythubandhu Scheme Rabi Details option from the menu bar
  3. From the opened page select year, type and PPB No
  4. Hit the ‘submit’ option and status will appear on the screen
  5. Click on the Scheme Wise Report from the drop-down list
  6. Enter details
  7. Select year
  8. Enter your PPBNO Number
  9. Click on the submit button
