Toyota will hike the price of Innova Crysta from next month. Apart from this, Tata and Honda will also increase the prices of their cars.
Car manufacturer Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced that it will increase the prices of its multi-purpose vehicle, Innova Crysta, by up to 2 per cent from next month. Toyota said in an official statement that the company will increase the prices of Innova Crysta by up to 2 per cent, with effect from August 1, 2021. Due to the increase in input costs, the price of the vehicle has been increased.
Reason for Price rise
The company said, “As a customer-centric company, we remain committed to cater to the ever-evolving needs and requirements of our customers by consciously minimizing the impact of rising costs on customers.” The company said that the prices of precious metals like rhodium and palladium have increased significantly in the last 1 year. Steel prices have also remained high during this period, due to which car prices have to be increased
The price
The price of petrol variants of Innova Crysta ranges from Rs 16.52 lakh (7-seater), Rs 16.57 lakh (8-seater) to Rs 22.74 lakh. At the same time, the price of its diesel variant is Rs 16.90 lakh (7-seater), Rs 16.95 lakh (8-seater) to Rs 24.59 lakh.
Features
The Innova Crysta gets 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. It has a large 9.0-inch infotainment system, which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The car has an air purifier and 360-degree camera. The car’s headlamps have also been updated and now include LED daytime running lamps along with a new bumper.
Engine
The car is equipped with a 2.4-litre diesel engine. Its manual variant generates maximum power of 150Bhp and a peak torque of 343 Nm. Its automatic transmission variant has a torque of 360 Nm. The 2.7-litre petrol engine in the car gives maximum power of 166 Bhp and a peak torque of 245 Nm. The petrol variant comes with automatic transmission only.
Tata and Honda to also increase the price
Car manufacturers like Tata and Honda have also announced an increase in the price of their cars. This means that buying a car from next month is going to be expensive.
