SBI Customers ALERT! Bank gives 8 TIPS to create UNBREAKABLE PASSWORD—Follow this method to save your hard-earned money from cyber criminals

The SBI customers should create a strong, unbreakable password in order to ensure security against cybercrimes. One can create a strong password by following these 8 tips. 

How to Create a Secure Password?: As more and more people are using online banking methods, the threats of cybercrimes are also increasing. One should be aware of the cybercrime threats and take precautions against them in advance in order to save one’s hard-earned money. The State Bank of India (SBI), time and again, reminds its customers against the threats of cybercrime and suggests ways and means to avoid such unfortunate incidents.

The largest public sector bank in the country has recently tweeted from its official Twitter handle suggesting how to create an unbreakable password to protect one’s money from the threats of cybercrime. The tweet said, “A strong password ensures higher levels of security. Here are 8 ways in which you can create an unbreakable password and protect yourself from cybercrime. Stay alert & #SafeWithSBI!”

Now, the ways of creating a strong, unbreakable passwords are as follows:

1) Use a combination of both uppercase and lowercase letter. For instance, aBjsE7uG

2) An user should use both numbers and symbols in the password. For example, AbjsE7uG61!@

3) In order to ensure adequate security, the user must ensure that there are minimum eight characters in the password. For instance, aBjsE7uG

4) The user must not use any common dictionary words like itislocked or thisismypassword to ensure enhanced security

5) The users should not use memorable keyboard paths like ‘qwerty’ or ‘asdfg’. Instead, it is advisable to play with one’s keyboard and add emotions like 🙂 or “:/”

6) For enhanced security, obvious passwords like 12345678 or abcdefg should be avoided

7) Also, easy to guess substitutions like DOORBELL – DOOR8377 should be avoided

8) Finally, one should keep one’s password long and should not connect it with one’s family or date of birth like Ramesh@1967

The SBI customers must note that one’s password is one’s signature and so it should be kept unique.

In case of any unfortunate incidents of cybercrime, the SBI customers should report immediately at cybercrime.gov.in.

All must be aware and cautious of the threats of cybercrime and protect one’s personal information from falling into the wrong hands.
