Even as the Indian market closed on a strong note on Thursday, the cues from the SGX Nifty, Asian markets and US markets hinted were positive for the domestic market. The Indian market has closed higher by one per cent on Friday.
On Friday morning, the SGX Nifty rose over 90 points in early trade to trade past 17,900 on the Singaporean exchange in early trade. Similarly, Japanese Nikkei 225 rose 0.30%, Hang Seng index at the Hong Kong Exchange gained 1.20% and Chinese Shanghai Composite traded higher by 0.25% on Friday morning.

Earlier, the US markets extended gains to second consecutive session as Wall Street benchmark indices closed near the day’s high amid volatility.
