Meanwhile, Christian leaders pledged their support to the ruling TRS and wished chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao luck on his entry onto the national scene. A resolution has been passed unanimously by several leaders of the faith regarding the same.

In Nizamabad CSI Church on Tuesday, several leaders of the Christian faith in the congregation passed a resolution expressing their support.

AC Solomon Raj, the bishop of the Protestant Church of South India Society, said, “God’s blessings are with KCR. We are all with him. The country needs leaders like him right now. For India to remain secular, it needs KCR’s leadership.”

GENERAL BODY MEET AT 11 AM

The TRS Supremo had clarified that the TRS General Body meeting will be held as usual on Dussehra (October 5) at 11 am in Telangana Bhavan.

CM KCR said the notification for bye-election to Munugodu Assembly will not affect the general body meeting organised in Dussehra and the members need not get confused.

The Chief Minister reiterated that, as announced earlier, the general party meeting will be held at 11 am on October 5 in Telangana Bhavan. Leaders are requested to attend the meeting within the specified time.
