Last Communication with family:

A former journalist, Zulfikar Ahmad Khan, reportedly vanished in Nairobi in July, according to a report by The Hindu. He last communicated with his family 80 days ago, and they don’t know where he is.

“It’s been almost 80 days now, yet no one has any idea about his whereabouts. Local police in Kenya are clueless. They have been asked by the High Court of the land to produce Zulfi, but they have no idea where he is,” said Khan’s family in a statement reported by the publication.

Zulfikar’s family seeks urgent help:

The family has also urged the High Commission in Kenya and the Indian government to investigate the case and trace Zulfikar.

“We don’t know if there is a serious search operation to find him. We don’t know if the Indian government has demanded an explanation from the Kenyan government about their missing citizen. We don’t know if our own High Commission in Kenya is helping in any way,” the statement added.

Khan formerly worked for Star India, where he became Senior Vice-President of Advertising Sales. He did, however, quit Balaji last year. According to reports, Zulfikar Ahmad Khan enjoys traveling, which is why he visited Kenya last summer.
