Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G Release Date, Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G Price in India, Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G Review: Xiaomi is all set to start the new year with a bang. The tech company will launch Redmi Note 12 series smartphones in India on January 5. Redmi Note has been extremely popular in India and Xiaomi is now launching three smartphones under the Redmi Note 12 series. Being branded as ‘Supernote’, the series will have Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 12 5G.
Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G is the top model in the series and today we are going to share the first impression of the device.

Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G: Design
Let’s start with the design of the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G. The device comes with flat-display made of plastic. We have Iceberg Blue colour unit for review and it looks really cool. The other two colours available are Arctic White and Obsidian Black colours.
Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G comes with a glass back and you will get Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 on the front. The phone looks well-built but feels a bit heavy and thick. For those who want numbers, it weighs around 208.4 gm.
Dimensions: Length – 162.9mm, Width – 76.03mm, Thickness – 8.9mm.
The thickness of 8.9 mm allows the phone to have a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top – something that most people prefer to have.
Next to the headphone jack is a speaker, an infra red or IR emitter and a microphone at the top end of the smartphone. At the bottom, Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G has dual nano-SIM tray, a primary microphone, a USB Type-C port, and a primary speaker grille. One can easily notice that the primary speaker grille is larger than the one at the top.
On the right side of the smartphone, Redmi gives volume buttons and a power button – which doubles as a fingerprint scanner. The power button or fingerprint scanner is relatively slim and looks decent.

Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G – Camera
At the front, you will have fairly narrow bezels, except for the chin. There is a cutout at the top of the screen for a 16-megapixel front camera. A closer look at the ring tells that there’s an adhesive screen guard on this phone. Also, there is a silver reflective ring around the front camera and some users may find it a little distracting. The display measures 6.67 inches diagonally.

As the flagship in the series, Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5g sports a 200MP primary camera. It has a pretty elaborate design for the camera module. The other two cameras are – 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro.
