SMS Service
You can easily check your accumulated balance in the NPS through an SMS from your mobile phone. The primary requirement for this is to have a registered mobile number with your NPS account. You have to send a missed call to the number 9212993399 from your registered mobile number. After this, you will receive a message. It will have all the information of your NPS account. It will tell your exact balance, date and time of investment and the validity of the plan.

NSDL Portal
The National Security Depositories Limited (NSDL) is usually used for PAN registration, Aadhaar card registration and other government documents regulations. You can also check the amount of money stored in your NPS account through this. You need to log in to this website and enter your Permanent retirement account number and password. After entering the necessary captcha code, you need to click on the Holding statement option. Then click on the Transaction Statement option. The amount deposited in your account will be displayed on your screen.
Umang App
This is the easiest way to check your NPS account balance. Install the Umang app on your phone. After login, select NPS. Click on the Current Holding option. Then enter your Permanent Retirement account number and password. Your balance of the NPS account will be displayed on your screen.
