Harley’s X440 to roll out deliveries on October 15. Booking window will reopen on October 16.
Hero MotoCorp, the renowned domestic motorcycle and scooter manufacturer, has revealed that deliveries of its inaugural collaborative premium motorcycle, the Harley-Davidson X440, will commence on October 15, coinciding with the first day of the Navratri festival.
This joint venture between Harley-Davidson and Hero is being manufactured at Hero MotoCorp’s Garden Factory in Neemrana, Rajasthan. Pre-booked customers have had the opportunity to take test rides since September 1.

According to a company statement from Hero, a fresh booking window for the Harley-Davidson X440 will become available on October 16. Customers can reserve this motorcycle at any Harley-Davidson dealership or choose from select Hero MotoCorp outlets nationwide. Online bookings can also be completed at www.Harley-Davidsonx440.com.
“The Harley Davidson X440 continues to create excitement across the country. While the production is in full swing at our Neemrana facility, a huge number of our pre-booked customers have availed the opportunity to test ride the motorcycle. We are all geared up to add a lot of festive cheer by commencing deliveries of the Harley Davidson X440 to our customers from the first day of the Navratri. This is just the beginning in our winning the premium journey,” said Niranjan Gupta, CEO, Hero MotoCorp.

The company also reported that following the motorcycle’s introduction in July, the Harley-Davidson X440 quickly garnered the attention of premium segment customers throughout India, amassing more than 25,000 bookings in just one month. In response to this exceptional demand, Hero MotoCorp temporarily suspended online bookings to accommodate the initial group of customers.
HARLEY-DAVIDSON X440: FEATURES
Talking about the features, the Harley-Davidson X440 is tailored to offer exceptional comfort for riders on both short and long journeys. Packed with cutting-edge attributes, this bike distinguishes itself from competitors. Notable inclusions consist of dual-channel ABS, LED headlight configuration, a TFT screen, and Bluetooth connectivity, enabling riders to stay connected with important calls and messages while on the go.

Furthermore, the X440 boasts a digital instrument cluster that furnishes vital bike-related details, including RPM, gear position, speed, mileage, and fuel capacity, among other essential information. Regarding the tyre dimensions, the bike rides on a 17-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel.
Moving on to the most critical aspect: the engine and power. The motorcycle is equipped with a 440 cc, air- or oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that generates a maximum power output of 26 bhp and a peak torque of 38 Nm. This engine is coupled with a 6-speed transmission, complemented by a slip and assist clutch.
HARLEY-DAVIDSON X440: PRICE
The feature-rich motorcycle is available in three variants. The base model of this two-wheeler starts at Rs 2.29 lakh, while the top model reaches Rs 2.69 lakh. These prices are ex-showroom and may vary based on the specific city or state.
