‘Leo’ box office collection Day 12: Vijay’s film puts up Rs 4.5 crore on Monday

Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Leo’ is continuing to put up decent numbers at the box office. The film saw a drastic drop in collection on Monday (October 30) after a phenomenal weekend. The action thriller is estimated to have earned Rs 4.5 crore in India. ‘Leo’ crossed Rs 300 crore net in India recently and is now marching towards the Rs 500-crore mark at the box office worldwide.

‘LEO’ SEES A MASSIVE DROP, EARNS RS 4.5 CRORE 

Thalapathy Vijay’s much-awaited film, ‘Leo’, graced the screens on October 19. The film was released in multiple languages amid huge fanfare. 

Ever since ‘Leo’ released in theatres, it has been taking the box office by storm. Recently, the film surpassed Rs 300 crore net on the domestic market. On Monday, October 30, it saw a huge drop in collection after an eventful weekend.Going by the trade reports, the film is said to have earned Rs 4.5 crore net India on October 30.

The 12-day total collection now stands at Rs 307.95 crore in India. On October 30, ‘Leo’ recorded an occupancy of 21.64 per cent in the country.

‘Leo’ marks the second collaboration of Thalapathy Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj after ‘Master’. This film has screenplay written by Lokesh, Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy. The action entertainer boasts an ensemble cast including Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Sandy and Gautham Menon in pivotal roles. Mathew Thomas, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand and several others were seen in supporting roles.
