MCX holidays in November 2023: Will the commodities market also observe holidays on these days?
Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will remain shut for the morning session on November 14, and open for the evening session the same day, according to its website, MCXIndia.com. MCX conducts morning sessions from 9 am to 5 pm, and evening sessions from 5 pm to 11:30/11:55 pm.

Muhurat trading time 2023 and date
BSE and NSE conduct a special, one-hour session, known as the ‘muhurat’ trading session, on the day of Diwali. This year round, the session will be held from 6 pm to 7:15 pm on Sunday, November 12.
What is ‘muhurat’ trading?
This special session each year marks the onset of a New Year as per the Vikram Samvat or Vikrami calendar, which is about 56-57 years ahead of the Gregorian calendar. Many traders believe that gains made this session bring prosperity and wealth during the course of the year ahead.
