PM Kisan Samman Nidhi 15th Instalment Check Status Online: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 15th instalment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Scheme) from Khunti, Jharkhand today i.e. November 15, 2023. A total of Rs 18,000 crore will be transferred directly to the accounts of around 8 crore farmers. The total amount transferred to beneficiaries since the launch of the scheme is expected to exceed Rs 2.80 lakh crore.
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) is a flagship scheme of the Government of India. It is also one of the biggest direct benefit transfer schemes in the world. Under the scheme, which was launched on February 24, 2019, financial assistance of Rs 6,000 is provided every year to small and marginal farmers. The amount is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer or DBT mode in three equal instalments every four months.
