JEE Advanced 2024: IIT Madras Releases Information Bulletin; Application Fee Increased For All Categories

The Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Madras has released the information brochure for the Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) Advanced examination.

JEE Advanced 2024 Information Bulletin: The Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Madras has released the information brochure for the Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) Advanced examination. The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2024 will be conducted by the seven Zonal Coordinating IITs under the guidance of the
Joint Admission Board 2024 (JAB 2024). The performance of a candidate in JEE (Advanced) 2024 will form the basis for admission to the Bachelors, Integrated Masters, and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level), mentioned in Clause 2, in all the IITs in the academic year 2024-25.

The registration process is scheduled to begin on April 21. Candidates can fill up the application form by visiting the official website – https://jeeadv.ac.in/index.html. The last date to apply is April 30. The competitive examination will be held for 2 papers; Paper 1 will be held between 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The Institute will release the JEE Advanced Admit Card on May 17, 2024.

JEE Advanced 2024 Application Fee Increased For All Categories

As per the latest information bulletin, the JEE Advanced application fee 2024 has been increased for all categories. Last year, female candidates (all categories) were required to pay Rs 1450. But this year, interested female candidates (all categories) must pay Rs 1600 to appear for the examination.

JEE (Advanced) 2023 Registration Fee: Indian Nationals

  • Female Candidates (all categories): Rs 1450
  • SC, ST, and PwD Candidates: Rs 1450
  • All Other Candidates: Rs 2900

Foreign Nationals (including PIO/OCI)

  • Candidates Residing in SAARC Countries: USD 90#
  • Candidates Residing in Non-SAARC Countries: USD 180#

JEE Advanced 2024 Application Fee For Exam Centre in Foreign Countries

Indian nationals who wish to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2024 are required to write the JEE (Main) 2024 paper for admission to B.E./B.Tech. programs conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Foreign nationals who have studied or are studying in India/abroad at 10+2 level or equivalent and wish to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2024 are NOT required to write the JEE (Main) 2024.
