Bengaluru Residents Listen Up! Power Cut On January 25, Water Supply To Be Hit On Jan 26; Check Affected Areas

New Delhi: Bengaluru is an extremely popular city and is often referred to as the ‘corporate capital’ of India where people are mostly working in corporate offices; if you are a Bengaluru resident, this might be an important news update for you. A power cut in selected areas will be experienced by residents today, January 24 and on January 25, 2024; the water supply in selected areas is also going to be hit for a total of approximately six hours on January 26, 2024. Power Cut In Bengaluru, Check Dates, Timings And Affected Areas

As mentioned earlier, there is a power cut in Bengaluru and it has been happening from January 23, 2024. It will continue today and tomorrow, January 25, 2025. The cause for Power Cut in Bengaluru is the maintenance and repair work taken up by the Karnataka Power Transmission Limited (KPTCL) and Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM).

The Bengaluru Power Cut timings will be between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The affected areas for January 24, 2024, according to a report by Hindustan Times are Malebennur, Halivana, Kumbaluru, Boodihal, Nanditavare, Kokkanuru, Govinahal, Kunebelakere, Hindusgatta, Kumarahanahalli, Guddadahalli, Devarabelakere, Melekatte, Jarikatti, Mudahadadi, Salakatti, K. Bevinahalli, Kadalegundi, Boodhihalli, Chathra, Maralawadi, Godur And Surrounding Villages, BWSSB STP, Jakkasandra, HSR 5th Sector, Teachers Colony, part of Venkatapura, Greenage Apartment and Koramangala Extention.

The affected areas for January 25, according to an HT Times report are- Doddaballapura Town, Rajgatta, Tippuru, Raghunathapura, Talagwara, Gandrajapura, Konagatta, Muddanayakanapalya, Hanabe, SS Ghati, Antharahalli, Kantanakunte, Neralagatta, Hadonahalli And Surrounding Areas, Obalapura, Doddabele, Kodigehalli, Manne Panchathi, Geddlahalli, Kerekathiganoor, Kasaraghatta, Mahimapura, Lakkenahalli, Melekathiganoor, G G Palya, K Agrahara, Arebommanahalli, Kodagi Bommanahalli, Lakkasandra, Sulkunte, Halkuru and Thimmasandra.

Water Supply Affected In Bengaluru: Timings, Affected Areas

Vale-repair work near the Chandra Layout is going on by the BWSSB and because of this, the water supply will remain affected for a total of six hours on Republic Day, i.e. January 26. The list of affected areas, as mentioned in a report by Times of India are – Mahalakshmi Layout, JC Nagar, Sriramanagar, Muneshwara Block, JS Nagar, West of Chord Road, Saraswathipuram, Mico Layout, Ganesha Block, Rajajinagar, Bhuvaneshwarinagar, Dr Rajkumar Road, Prakash Nagar, Subramanyanagar, parts of Gayathrinagar, Milk Colony, Nandini Layout, Shankarnagar, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, KHB Colony, Yeshwantpur APMC and RMC Yard, Goraguntepalya, Basaveshwaranag BEML Layout, Gruhalakshmi Layout, Kamalanagar, Kuvempu Park, SVK Layout, Karnataka Layout, Kaverinagar, Vyalikaval, Lakshminagar.
