Hyundai Creta N Line launch in India on March 11

After bringing the Creta facelift, Hyundai Motor India is all set to introduce the Creta N Line. The carmaker will launch the Creta N Line in the country on March 11. This will be the third Hyundai N Line model after the i20 N Line and the Venue N Line.

The sportier version of the mid-size SUV segment leader will be powered by a 1.5-litre Kappa Turbo GDi petrol engine (160PS and 253Nm). It will have 6-speed MT and 7-speed DCT choices. The turbo petrol unit does not get a manual transmission option in the standard Creta. Among others, the Creta N Line will get a retuned suspension and sportier exhaust note, like the i20 N Line and the Venue N Line.

To make the Creta N Line look different from the standard Creta, Hyundai has tweaked the exterior with a new bumper and Exter-like smaller grille. The lighting set-up remains similar with LED headlamps and LED DRLs. The spy images (courtesy – autonation_india/Instagram) reveal larger and redesigned 18-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, you find a bigger spoiler, new bumper and dual-tip exhaust.

Hyundai has integrated red accents both on the outside and inside to bolster the N Line-family character of the Creta N Line. The cabin has an all-black finish, as opposed to the dual-tone we see on the standard Creta. The features are more or less similar, but the Creta N Line has a new steering wheel and N Line-focussed gear lever. Like other N Line models, we expect the Creta N Line to feature metal pedals.

The spy images also reveal two new exterior colour options — Blue and Matte Grey — for the Creta N Line.

We expect the Hyundai Creta N Line price to be from Rs 19 lakh to Rs 22 lakh (ex-showroom). It will take on the Kia Seltos X Line.
