UIDAI, the organisation issuing Aadhaar, informed that all users should update details on their Aadhaar card every 10 years. That is, if it has been 10 years since your Aadhar card was made, then get it updated. Now, less than 10 days left to get this work done.

Deadline to update Aadhaar for free

A Aadhaar card holder can update details by visiting the Aadhaar centre or he can do it online by himself. To update your Aadhaar card, you need to provide necessary information like your demographic data, address, date of birth, mobile number etc. One can update demographic data online, but many details can only be updated by visiting the Aadhaar centre.

Like to update Iris or biometric data, one has to go to the Aadhaar centre. Keep in mind that the facility of free Aadhaar updates will be available only on online updates. You will have to pay the charges for updating your Aadhaar by going to the Aadhaar centre.

How to update Aadhaar Card For Free

– Visit the official website of UIDAI.

– Find the option of Aadhaar update on the home page.

– if you want to update the address, then select the ‘Update Address’ option.

– Next, enter the registered mobile number and you will get an OTP on it, enter the OTP.

– Next, you will have details of your Aadhaar.

– Verify all the details and then upload the documents required to update the address.

– Next, accept the Aadhaar update process.

– You will get an Update Request for a 14 Number URN
