Weather Update: IMD predicts cloudy conditions in Delhi; fresh western disturbance likely in THESE states – Check full forecast 

Thursday was the month’s coldest morning in Delhi with the minimum temperature recorded at 8.8 degrees Celsius

Light to moderate rainfall and snowfall are likely over the western Himalayan region from March 11-14 and isolated to scattered rainfall over adjoining plains from March 12 to 14, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) mentioned in the latest weather forecast.

As per the weather department, two western disturbances in quick succession are likely to affect northwest India on March 10 and March 12. Under the influence of these systems, isolated light rainfall and snowfall are likely over Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand on March 10.

Delhi to see partly cloudy skies 

The weather office has forecast partly cloudy skies with strong surface winds reaching speeds of 25-35 kilometers per hour in Delhi today. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to settle around 11 and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively.

On Friday, the maximum temperature in the city settled a notch below normal at 27.4 degrees Celsius, IMD said. The minimum temperature was recorded at 9.6 degrees Celsius. 

Notably, Thursday was the month’s coldest morning in Delhi with the minimum temperature being recorded at 8.8 degrees Celsius.

Rain forecast  

Isolated to scattered rainfall is very likely over Punjab, Haryana, and West Uttar Pradesh on March 13 and 14. 

Isolated rainfall is also likely over Odisha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim today and tomorrow. 

Due to a trough, rainy conditions are likely in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura on March 13 and 14. 

Meanwhile, hot and humid weather is likely to prevail over Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, and Kerala during the next 3 days.
