Weather Update: Hot and humid weather is likely to prevail over Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu; Delhi will be mostly cloudy – Full details inside

Hot and humid weather is very likely to prevail over Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal during the next three days, and Kerala and Mahe during the next two days.

Over the Western Himalayan Region, moderately scattered to fairly widespread rainfall/snowfall is likely from the 11th to 14th of March, and isolated to scattered rainfall is likely over adjoining plains on the 13th of March, said India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Between March 10 and 12, and on March 14, in Jammu and Kashmir (JK), Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, and Himachal Pradesh region, IMD has predicted isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall and snowfall. However, widespread light to moderate rainfall and snowfall are anticipated on March 13, accompanied by isolated thunderstorms and lightning on March 12-13.

Between March 11 and 12, Uttarakhand is expected to see isolated light to moderate rainfall and snowfall, followed by scattered to fairly widespread rainfall/snowfall on March 13-14. On March 13, isolated thunderstorms and lightning are also predicted.

Scattered rainfall in Punjab

From March 11-14, Punjab is likely to experience isolated to scattered rainfall. There could be isolated thunderstorms and lightning on March 11-13, said the weather department. Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan may witness isolated rainfall on March 13.

Weather in Delhi

According to The Weather Channel, in Delhi, it will be mostly cloudy. Expect widespread areas of smoke and haze, reducing visibility at times. High will be 30°C. The temperature may drop to 17°C at night.
