We already know what the phone will look like, the processor inside that will power it, and even how fast it will be able to charge. Follow-up to the Nord CE 3, the Nord CE 4 is expected to be priced under Rs 30,000. There is no word on the lower-tier Nord CE 4 Lite and the setup-up version, the Nord 4 (though this could change soon as with the launch of the Ace 3V in China).

The Nord CE 4 will come with a plastic back and a plastic frame, to no one’s surprise. OnePlus does make some attractive back panels which is the case with the Nord CE 4 as well. There will be two colour choices to choose from including a very nice-looking marble version seemingly inspired from the OnePlus 11 Marble Odyssey edition. An alert slider won’t be in the picture, again, hardly a surprise.

Here’s all you need to know about the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 4 ahead of April 1 launch in India:

Design, build: The Nord CE 4 packs a new back panel design though the underlying flat aesthetic is being carried over from the Nord CE 3.

There will be a choice of two colours— Dark Chrome and Celadon Marble. The former will have a “subtle shiny gradient”, the latter will have a texture inspired from the “special edition OnePlus 11 Marble Odyssey.”

Display: The Nord CE 4 will have a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and hole punch cut-out at the centre.

Processor: The Nord CE 4 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3.

ROM/RAM: The Nord CE 4 will come with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS3.1 storage. The phone will support expandable storage by up to 1TB through micro-SD card slot.

Software: It is all but certain that the Nord CE 4 will run OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14.

Cameras: The Nord CE 4 will have dual cameras. Reports suggest it may use a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor.
