These reptiles have fascinated humankind for centuries and are also worshipped in several religions. From tiny venomous snakes to gigantic anacondas, nature has built this reptile as a killing machine. Snakes are creatures you never want to mess with; however, some people find it fascinating to interact with these reptiles. In a similar vein, a video of a man has gone viral on the internet like wildfire, in which he can be seen kissing a King Cobra. Well, the video has not gone viral because the man kissed the reptile, but because the reptile bit him back. The incident took place in Karnataka.

In the clip, a man can be seen attempting to kiss the rescued king cobra on its head. However, the reptile was not pleased with the man’s gesture, it suddenly twisted head back and bit the man on its face. The incident has become the subject of hilarious discussion on the internet. Reportedly, the man survived the snake bite.

The clip was shared by a X by an account names ‘ghar ke kalesh’, “This is horrible”.

Since being shared the clip has accumulated almost 90,000 views and several likes.

Meanwhile, while cobra venom is not the most lethal of all poisonous snake venoms, it contains enough neurotoxin in a single bite to kill 20 humans or an elephant. The respiratory centres in the brain are impacted by king cobra venom, leading to cardiac and respiratory arrest.
