BREAKING NEWS | No Relief For Arvind Kejriwal From Supreme Court

New Delhi: In a big jolt to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, the Supreme Court on Monday did not give any relief to him in connection with the excise policy case.

The top court has issued a notice to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and sought a response on the same by April 24, and the next hearing will take place on April 29.

Appearing for Kejriwal, senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that he (Kejriwal) is being put in custody to stop him from election campaigning. “I wanted to campaign for election,” he said.

However, the apex court declined the request of releasing the CM from jail for election campaign.
