Amitabh Bachchan confirmed he has begun filming the new season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. KBC 16 will kick off on April 26 on the small screen.
Amitabh Bachchan returned to the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati and kicked off the filming of KBC 16. The actor, who has become synonymous with the show, had confirmed that he will be returning as the host of the new season. On late Tuesday night, Big B took to his blog and shared first photos from KBC 16 along with details of his first day back on sets. The superstar revealed he had a busy first day. The actor did not get his traditional break and ended up having lunch in his car.

The actor first shared a picture in which he was seen wearing a casual outfit. He then changed into his formal black suit. He made his way to the sets and greeted fans with folded hands. Sharing the photos, Amitabh wrote, “Nikle the kaam pe apni gaadi se, roop swaroop hua logo ki zimedaari se. Khel hone jaa raha hai naye season ka, sneh-pyaar bana rahe ef parivaar ka.”
“Non stop schedule beginning at 9 .. and worked till 5 without the traditional break .. done it driven off , and lunched in car .. that rolled appropriate eat and that consumption drink,” he said, adding that he was home just in time to watch the Chennai Super Kings vs Lucknow Super Giants IPL match. “Back in the love of the game at IPL .. as exciting as all the others that are unfolding before us this season ..” he said.

It was just last week that Sony Entertainment Television confirmed that KBC 16 is happening and Big B would returning as the host. Taking to X, Sony TV dropped the new promo and mentioned, “Aisa mila pyaar ki laut aa raha hai fir ek baar #KaunBanegaCrorepati Shuru ho rahe hain #KBCRegistrations 26 April raat 9 baje se.”
