Microscopic Examination Of Instant Noodles Reveals Hidden Organisms, Highlights Health Concerns

A microscope reveals everything to the eye, even the things we might be in denial of. A video was posted on X (formerly Twitter) which shows what living organisms our instant noodles carry. The video was shared by an account called @cooltechtipz on the social media site. The one-minute video starts with the researcher showing the instant noodle to the camera. They then put the whole noodle cake under a microscope. After zooming in we can see little ticks like transparent organisms crawling on the food item. With a tweezer, they pick the organism up not visible to the naked eye. So, the researcher puts the tweezer under the microscopic zoom. There the organism is stuck to the metal instrument. The noodles are then crushed and on a slide, the researcher puts one drop of a liquid and then puts the noodle pieces on it. Under the microscope, the netizens get a clearer and bigger view of the organism, struggling to crawl on the slide. The clip is shared with the tweet, “The image of the Noodle we consume daily under the microscope.”

Netizens react to the video in the comment section below, some giving solutions to kill it. The first user wrote, “Boiled Water takes away. Also found in fruits and vegetables. Happy Noodle.” A second user shared, “Cooking helps to kill a lot of the germs. But, important to note that bacteria in your food begin to die at 149°F.” A third user inquired, “Maybe this sample is already expired. Before, you must show the box date.” The clip has been liked more than 14,000 times and has gained over 3.1 million views on the platform.
