What will be the key hiring trends in retail, e-commerce and telecom sector in the future? 
Working in the e-commerce sector is currently one of the most lucrative opportunities today. Hiring in this sector will attract talent from various industries.. While the retail sector will see hiring trends in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, the telecom sector in the coming 2-3 quarters might end up downsizing. Hiring for talent in the e-commerce sector might see recruiters going to Tier 2 cities and rural areas. 

How AI and automation will drive employment in retail, e-commerce and telecom sector respectively?
AI and automations are going to be the gamechangers in the years to come and will transform various industries like never before. Most sectors are going to see an intersection of AI and automation to improve its basic functions. While the e-commerce sector will find various uses from improving their reach and delivery, the telecom sector will use these emerging technologies to service their customers. Even though all sectors will see great use of AI, startups will be flag bearers in implementing AI and automation. 

What will be the talent-related challenges in retail, e-commerce and telecom sector, due to the advancement of technologies? 
Technology is set to bring about some of the most innovative changes across sectors. While there has been a lot of conversation around job losses with the advancement of technology one needs to acknowledge the fact that it will also bring new set of jobs. Up-skilling and re-skilling will be the key to be relevant. Cognitive abilities will be in great demand. Augmented Realty and Virtual Reality (AR/VR), Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) and roles dependent on customer value chain will be key focus and will undergo major overhaul. 

What kind of skills will be in demand? 
Some of the prominent kills that will be in demand across sectors are: Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR), Robotics, Blockchain architecture, ethical hiring, predictive modeling and digital marketing. 

Which other factors will drive job creation in different sectors?
Skill mobilisation, skill creation, up-skilling, regulatory control, reach and connectivity will be major drivers for job creation in the near future.
