International Flights: Maldivian Airlines Announces Non-Stop Flights From Delhi to Male | Check Flight Schedule, Other Details

International Flights Latest News Today: After the island nation has allowed Indian tourists to visit the country from July, the Maldivian Airlines has announced flight schedule from Delhi to Male. Recently, the airlines started its first non-stop flight service between Delhi and Male. As per updates, the first flight between two cities operated on 4 November 2021. Interestingly, the non-stop flight offers in-flight meals, and standard baggage for passengers, operating in Economy Class and Business Class configuration.

According to the details shared by the airline, the Maldivian Airlines will operate the flight services three times a week with an Airbus A320 aircraft.

In July this year, the island nation of Maldives allowed tourists from India to visit for non-essential travel. The country is one of the most favourite tourist destinations among the Indians and opening up of the border comes as a piece of reliving news for those who want to travel to the Maldives.

Travel guidelines:

  • As per the Maldives Ministry of Tourism (MoT), people arriving in the country will no longer be required to undergo the mandatory quarantine on arrival.
  • The Indian tourists will need to produce a negative RT-PCR report which should not be more than 96 hours old before their arrival.
  • People who have completed both the doses of covid-19 vaccines will also no longer require to undergo the mandatory quarantine.
  • The tourists visiting Maldives will have to download contact tracing app TraceEkee, and wear a face mask while in public.
  • After arrival, they need to submit a Health Declaration on the Maldives immigration portal 24 hours before arrival.
  • They should have a valid passport, with at least 1-month validity from the date of expected departure.
