OnePlus 10R Prime Blue Edition set to launch in India on September 22, here’s all about it

OnePlus 10R is already available in India. The smartphone was unveiled a couple of months ago. Now, the company has announced launching a new version of the phone, which will be called the OnePlus 10R Prime Blue Edition. The model will go official on September 22.

Currently, the OnePlus 10R is available in two colour options – Forest Green and Sierra Black. The differences between the existing OnePlus 10R 5G and the upcoming Prime Blue Edition are expected to be minimal. The change between the new and old models could possibly be in the colour option. The design is expected to be the same and even the specifications.

The OnePlus 10R currently comes in three models in India — 8GB RAM + 128GB storage with 80W charging, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant with 80W charging and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage with 150W fast charging support. The upcoming OnePlus 10R Prime Blue Edition is tipped to come packed with 150W fast charging support instead of 80W. Notably, the company hasn’t revealed anything about the OnePlus 10R 5G Prime Blue Edition yet.

As far as the pricing is concerned, the OnePlus 10R 5G was launched at a price of Rs 38,999. Later, the company dropped the price of the phone and it now starts at Rs 34,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage with 80W charging. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant with 80W charging comes at a price of Rs 38,999. The top-end model with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage with 150W fast charging support is currently priced at Rs 39,999. Now, considering the existing prices, the upcoming OnePlus 10R 5G is expected to be priced somewhere around Rs 42,000.

As far as specifications are concerned, the OnePlus 10R comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

On the camera front, the OnePlus 10R includes a triple rear camera system consisting of a primary 50-megapixel camera. On the front, the phone includes a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls. The standard version of the smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. The top-end model, or the OnePlus 10R Endurance Edition, comes with 150W fast charging support and a 4500mAh battery.
