Asus launches 13 new gaming laptops in India, price starts at Rs 1.05 lakhs

Asus has launched 13 new gaming laptops, including some special editions, in India for casual and professional gamers. The new laptops under its TUF, Flow, Zephyrus, and Strix series feature the latest-gen AMD/Intel CPUs and Nvidia GPUs with the price starting at Rs 1.05 lakh. The most premium laptop in the lineup, Asus ROG Flow Z13 ACRONYM carries a starting price of Rs 2,84,990.

The new Asus gaming laptops come in different shapes and sizes, though they can also be used for daily productivity work or editing. However, for that, Asus has already launched relatively more affordable Zenbooks and Vivobook with up to 13th-Gen Intel Core CPUs. These are also available to purchase via official channels.

Asus TUF A15 and TUF A17

Asus has refreshed the TUF A15 and A17 laptops that feature a 15-inch and 17-inch displays, respectively. The new models come equipped with the latest AMD Ryzen R9 7940HS processor with Radeon Graphics (8 cores/16 threads). Asus is also offering up to NVIDIA RTX 4060 graphics at 140W max TGP. 

Customers can choose to display variants offering QHD resolution with a 165Hz refresh rate or Full-HD with a 144Hz refresh rate. The laptops also feature the MUX Switch with NVIDIA Advanced Optimus support to reduce latency and boost performance by 5-10 per cent on average. There’s a 90Wh battery that offers up to 12.5 hours of battery (likely with Flight Mode on).

Asus TUF F15 and TUF F17

The Asus TUF F15 and TUF 17 laptops come with military-grade durability and up to Intel Core i9-13900H processor. The laptops also include up to GeForce RTX 4060 GPU. Compared to the TUF keyboard from 2022, there’s a new flipped mini-LED backlighting mechanism, which is said to be more energy efficient. Additionally, there are dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support and Hi-Res Audio certification. The duo also include a 90Whr battery.

Asus TUF A16 Advantage Edition

Asus states the TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition is an “all-AMD powerhouse that’s engineered for those who want to easily stream and play the latest games.” 

It features the latest AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS mobile processor with AMD Smart Access Graphics and AMD Dynamic Switchable Graphics. The 16-inch display offers a 90 per cent screen-to-body ratio, a Full-HD resolution panel, and a 165Hz refresh rate with 100 per cent sRGB coverage. The company is also boasting its dual 84-blade fans with ARC Flow design and up to seven heat pipes for effective cooling during intense gaming.

Asus ROG Strix G16 and ROG Strix G18

The Asus ROG Strix G16 and ROG Strix G18 feature improved 16-inch and 18-inch displays while preserving the same small 15 and 17-inch footprint in a new chassis. Asus the design is “inspired by athletics, giving it a bold, sporty, and vivid appearance.” 

It is equipped with the latest Intel 13th-Gen Core processors and Nvidia RTX 40 series of laptop graphics. Asus promises a “cool and quiet” performance, thanks to ROG Intelligent Cooling Ecosystem for optimised performance.

Asus Zephyrus G14

The Asus Zephyrus G14 is a lightweight “powerhouse” that weighs 1.65kg without AniMe Matrix. The laptop comes with the latest AMD Ryzen 7000 series processor with RTX 4000 series Graphics and MUX Switch. The Asus Zephyrus G14 features a QHD+ Nebula display with a 165Hz fast refresh rate and a peak brightness of 500 nits. The display also offers a 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut and a 16:10 aspect ratio.

Gamers can opt for models with the distinct AniMe Matrix panel.

Asus Flow Z13 Acronym

The most premium laptop in the lineup is the Asus Flow Z13 Acronym which features a Core i9-13900H processor, GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, and a premium metal design. The laptop has a fully detachable full-sized keyboard and USB-C power delivery. Without the keyboard, the laptop can be carried like a sling bag with metal covers. The laptop has a 170-degree kickstand to transform it into a traditional laptop form factor in landscape orientation. 

The same kickstand can also be used when the machine is in portrait orientation. It has Pantone validation, Dolby Vision, and a 16:10 aspect ratio touchscreen.

Asus ROG Zephyrus G16

The new Zephyrus G16 joins the lineup and boasts an Intel Core i9 13900H CPU and up to a GeForce RTX 4060 GPU with a MUX Switch and Nvidia Advanced Optimus. It is also equipped with a 16-inch Nebula display with a QHD+ resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. Other key features include a 90Wh battery and six speakers with Dolby Atmos.

Asus ROG Flow X13

Asus notes that the upgraded Flow X13 “has never been as flexible, powerful, or portable.” Due to its compact size and 13-inch display, the laptop weighs barely 1.3kg. It is available up to Ryzen 9 (7940HS) CPU and RTX 4090 mobile GPU configuration. The display offers QHD+ and a  165Hz refresh rate. The display is touch-enabled and has Gorilla Glass DXC touchscreen protection. There’s also MPP 2.0 stylus support. Other specifications include one-touch power on and Full-HD camera with Windows Hello Face unlock, 

Asus ROG Flow X13

Last on the list is the Asus ROG Flow X13, which is similar to the special edition laptop. It comes with up to a 14-core Intel Core i9-13900H CPU and up to a GeForce RTX 4060 GPU. Despite these top specs, the laptop weighs 1.18 kg. Since it features a 2-in-1 form factor, the Z13 can be used like a tablet as well. The display offers a 16:10 aspect ratio, QHD+ resolution, 500 nits peak brightness, and a 165Hz refresh rate. The screen has Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
