Independence Day market holiday: NSE, BSE to remain shut today

Stock market holiday, Independence Day: Domestic financial markets will remain shut on Tuesday, August 15 for the country’s 77th Independence Day. Trading in capital, money and commodity markets will resume on Wednesday, August 16.

Stock market holiday, Independence Day: Domestic financial markets will remain shut on Tuesday, August 15 for the country’s 77th Independence Day. Trading in capital, money and commodity markets will resume on Wednesday, August 16. Trading in equity, equity derivatives, securities lending and borrowing (SLB), currency derivatives and interest rate derivatives segments will be unavailable on August 15, according to the stock exchange BSE. Trading on commodity exchange MCX will also remain unavailable for both the morning and evening sessions, and will resume in the morning session on Wednesday, August 16.
