Moto G34 5G with leather finish set to launch in India on January 9, here are the details

Motorola has confirmed the launch of the Moto G34 5G smartphone in India. The device is all set to hit the market on January 9 at 12:00PM IST and it will be available for purchase via Motorola’s official website and Flipkart. The budget Motorola phone features a vegan leather finish and a Snapdragon 695 SoC. The Moto G34 5G originally debuted in the Chinese market in December 2023, and it will arrive in India by next week. Ahead of the launch, Flipkart has unveiled a dedicated microsite, teasing key specifications and features. Here are the details.

Moto G34 5G: Expected price in India

In China, the Moto G34 5G is currently available at CNY 999 (around Rs 11,600) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The Indian pricing is expected to align with its Chinese counterpart. The device will likely be seen competing with phones such as Redmi 13C and Samsung Galaxy M14. The new Motorola phone is expected to be priced under Rs 15,000.

In India, users can expect variants with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. In addition to the confirmed configuration, there are speculations about an additional variant with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. However, the pricing details for the Indian market remain undisclosed.

Moto G34 5G: Specifications

The Flipkart listing reveals a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Moto G34 5G runs on the Android 14 operating system and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC. A noteworthy feature is the virtual RAM support, enhancing the device’s performance, according to the company. The brand claims this to be the fastest 5G handset with the Snapdragon 695 chipset.

Optics-wise, the Moto G34 5G sports a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, there’s a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and an IP52-rated build. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. You can expect the company to bundle a charger in the retail box along with the smartphone.
