The viral clip first appeared on social media in 2020 and showed a monkey attempting to kidnap a toddler. In the video, the monkey appears on a toy bike and approaches a bench where two toddlers, a woman, and a small girl are sitting. The woman is holding a kid, and the other is sitting on a bench.

Moving forward, the monkey throws the toy bike, startling everyone seated on the bench. Surprisingly, the monkey pulls the toddler’s leg while sitting on the bench. The toddler falls on the floor as the monkey tries to flee. However, it turns back and grabs the youngster by the hand. It drags the child to the pavement. However, it exits the scene with the intervention of others, and the toddler returns back to her parents. The caption on the post read, “Monkey on a bike attempts to kidnap a child.”

The video has over 15 million views and shocked many online users. One of them commented saying, “Monkey on a bike attempts to kidnap a child” those are words I never thought would form a sentence in my life.” When the video previously went viral users pointed out that this was akin to human trafficking.
Meanwhile, recently, another monkey act went viral. Recently, a video was shared on X, that shows a monkey in an office, surrounded by mounds of paperwork. What’s more interesting is that the monkey appears to imitate the office worker, as it methodically examines various papers and documents. The footage was purportedly filmed in a government office in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. While some workers continue to work, others take advantage of the opportunity to record this unexpected visitor.

In an attempt to distract the animal, a staffer offers a banana, but the monkey declines and continues to browse the documents. Others offer bananas, and those in the background can be heard encouraging the monkey to eat, but it continues to read the pages. Later, a few brave colleagues are seen on film guiding the animal out of the office.
