Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G Series: A first for any Infinix device, the dedicated chip aims to optimize energy consumption, enhance charging efficiency, and extend the device’s battery life. 

Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G Series: Infinix is all set to unveil its highly anticipated Note 40 Pro 5G Series in India. Ahead of that, several details related to the devices are now available online. According to reports, Infinix’s ‘Cheetah X1’ chip is designed to redefine the smartphone power management landscape. 

A first for any Infinix device, the dedicated chip aims to optimize energy consumption, enhance charging efficiency, and extend the device’s battery life.

Because of the ‘Cheetah X1’ chip, Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G users can expect improved overall battery and charging performance. It is also expected to enhance the device’s response times.

Meanwhile, the Infinix Note 40 Series – comprising the Note 40, Note 40 Pro, Note 40 Pro 5G and Note 40 Pro+ 5G – is now available globally. 

Infinix showcased its Note 40 Series at the F1 Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia.

The Note 40 Series introduces innovations such as 100W multi-speed FastCharge, Wireless MagCharge and a self-developed chip that supports multi-function charging modes. Additionally, the series features a 3D curved 120Hz AMOLED display and a 108MP super zoom camera system with OIS support.

Infinix has also incorporated AI enhancements like Active Halo AI lighting and partnered with Sound by JBL. 

According to the company, the Note 40 Pro+ 5G supports 100W Multi-Speed FastCharge, reaching 50 per cent in just 8 minutes in hyper mode. It also offers low-temp mode and smart mode for tailored charging. The series boasts high-density batteries, enduring 1,600 full cycles while retaining 80 per cent energy. Wireless charging is upgraded to 20W Wireless Magcharge. 

The Pro Series features a 55° curved display enhanced with durable Corning Gorilla Glass. On the other hand, the Note 40 has a flat display. The 120Hz AMOLED display offers a 1080P resolution and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. 

Infinix’s new ‘Active Halo’ merges AI and design. It brings lifelike light pulsations on the phone’s camera module. The light display  changes based on various activities such as receiving calls, and notifications, playing games or music, charging the device, or using the voice assistant, etc.

The Note 40 Series has a 108MP main camera to capture long-distance moments with 3x lossless superzoom. The Pro series includes Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) technology.  Users can simultaneously record from the 32 MP front and rear cameras using Dual Video mode.  

Pricing and Availability 

The Note 40 Series is available globally from March 19th, in Vintage Green,  Obsidian Black, and Titan Gold colourways. 
Prices start at $199 for the Note 40, $259 for the Note 40 Pro, $289 for the Note 40 Pro 5G, and  $309 for the Note 40 Pro+ 5G. Prices and availability for the NOTE 40 Series will vary based on the region. All models have Infinix XOS 14 installed, with the Pro series supporting two years of Android OS upgrades.
